Our trekking safaris in the North equator deserts will leave you asking for more. We use camels as we explore the mystery of Chalbi dessert. The sun here can be unforgiving but it even gets better than that as we trek towards Maralal and later connect to Baringo route right on the shores of Lake Baringo which is one of the rift valley formed fresh water lake.
Ngong hills-Mt Longonot Trek takes six days, the trek will at least covers 120 km through the great rift valley. There terrain through the trek is mostly ragged and mountain reed-bucks , olive babboons, vervet monkeys and a good list of birds will be seen. The trek ends with a hike at Mt Longonot which is one of the dormant volcano. We will hike the mountain and take a walk along the huge caldera.
Loita hills trek with Donkey derby will take you through Loita highland forests towards lake Natron where flamingos breed, expect great viewing of Black and White Columbus monkey as they jump from one tree to the other.
